The Hydor E-SK DC Protein Skimmer model 600, represents state of the art design and performance and designed for sump use. The pipeless design allows the E-SK Protein Skimmer to fit into smaller sump areas. The E-SK Protein Skimmer is equipped with the unique DC Hydor pump with electronic control that s high performance in terms of water flow and air intake. A special needle impeller designed in the Hydor Laboratories s a perfect mixing of large quantities of water and air. Innovations include the drainage system on the cup as well as the removable center portion which helps to facilitate cleaning operations. In the event of power failures and high sump water the electronic pump prevents the over-flow of liquid from the upper skimmer container thanks to pump starting delay which is directly managed by the controller. For Aquariums up to 150 gallons
