Our equine polo wraps are great for both icing and cooling the muscles, ligaments and tendons after exercise, competition or injury. Wet the polo wraps, wring out the excess and place folded in the freezer for approximately 45 minutes. If a freezer is not available, simply place in a cooler with ice and water and apply when needed.Our recommended icing time is 10 minutes. **If an area has been shaved for surgical procedures or for diagnosis, utilize some type of protective layer between the wrap and the skin. Always check with your veterinarian or your healthcare professional for recommend icing times. **Remember, evaporation occurs naturally in the freezer. If products are going to be in the freezer past the recommended freezing time, place in an airtight bag.
