Description

Blau Aquaristic Bio Pellets are made from biodegradable polymers that serve as both substrate and food for aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. Which transform and remove nitrate and phosphate. They have been specially designed for aquaculture and aquaphilia so that they are completely free from harmful substances. The special shape of the Blue Aquaristic Bio Pellets prevents clumping and blocking of the filters. Operation: Aerobic and anaerobic bacteria will use Biopellets as a source of carbon as well as nitrates and phosphates in the water to form their biomass which is eliminated by skimmer or as animal feed filters. How to use: It is preferable to use them in fluid bed reactors to ensure good water circulation and optimum efficiency. It can also be used in bottle filters and mechanical filters provided good circulation is ensured. It is recommended that the filter output is connected with a good skimmer to remove excess bacterial biomass as well as reoxygenate the water. Dosage: Usually 100 ml of Biopellets per 100 litres of aquarium, but can be increased or reduced depending on the biomass of the aquarium. Biopellets are consumed by bacteria so it is necessary to replenish your periodic every 6 or 12 months. Contains: 1000 ml biopellets.
