Description

Chemi-pure is the original formula for over 50 years with millions of satisfied customers. It was invented by Dick Boyd in the 1960s. Chemi-pure combines high grade granular activated carbon with advanced ion exchange resins offering superior filtration for your freshwater, reef, or marine aquarium. Together, this proprietary blend removes odors and color- causing dissolved organic molecules along with toxins, medications, phenols and dissolved metals. Chemi-pures exclusive media formula has an ideal pore size for absorbing nitrogenous wastes and dissolved organics in your aquarium water while being the safest filter media available. Chemi-pure will keep your aquarium healthy, stable and crystal clear. Keep Chemi-pure sealed in container until ready for use. Rinse lightly under running water then place nylon bag in any external power filter, canister filter, or filter sump. Chemi-pure should be replaced approximately every 3 months depending on bio-load. If more than one Chemi-pure filter bag is used, change one at a time every week until all bags have been replaced. Use one 5oz unit for up to 25 gallons.

Great for maintaining water quality!

I've been using Boyd Enterprises Chemi-Pure in my 60-gallon tank for a couple of months now and my water has never been clearer. The 5-ounce packets are super convenient, and I love that this 6-pack gives me plenty to keep my aquarium in top shape. Highly recommend it!

Nice product, but be careful with dosage

The Chemi-Pure works great at removing impurities in my aquarium, but I found the instructions a bit vague. I added a little too much at first and it caused some temporary cloudiness. Now that I know the right amount, it’s been perfect. Just make sure to follow the instructions closely!

Not what I expected

I had read so many good reviews about Chemi-Pure, but my experience wasn’t great. The first batch arrived with one packet damaged, and the water didn’t clear up like I hoped. Maybe my aquarium setup is different, but I was disappointed with this purchase.

Good value for a must-have aquarium product

I bought this 6-pack of Chemi-Pure for my reef tank and was impressed with how quickly it cleared up my water. The 5-ounce size is just right for periodic changes. My fish seem happier, but I did have some shipping delays that were a bit annoying. Still, a solid buy!

This Chemi-Pure is a must-have for aquarists. I've used it in my freshwater setup, and it does wonders for my water clarity and overall quality. The bulk pack is nice too, as I don't have to worry about running out anytime soon. Definitely will buy again!
