Catron IV kills and repels flies and fly maggots on animal wounds. It can also be used to kill and repel face flies and control ear ticks. For use on beef cows, dairy cows (including lactating), swine, sheep, goats and horses, this spot-on spray is formulated with a blue dye, making it easy to identify treated areas. How it works: Catron IV aerosol spray contains 0.5% permethrin, a pyrethroid insecticide that works to paralyze parasites. Please read the entire label before each use. See directions for use on livestock to kill and control pests in and around superficial wounds, as well as to control troublesome flies, ticks and other listed pests. Bacterial infections of wounds should be prevented or treated with supplemental disinfectants or appropriate antibiotic therapy.
