Freeze dried beef heart dog treats with one ingredient: beef heart, freeze dried in small batches in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Heart is firmer than liver and milder in smell; it snaps into small pieces for rapid rewards and holds its shape in a pouch. It comes in 1.5, 3 and 6 ounce bags, and ships from us.
Heart is firm. A piece snaps into smaller ones, so you can pay out rewards fast. It is also milder than liver, for dogs that find liver too rich. On our scorecard beef heart is a medium piece with 3 of 5 for crunch and 5 of 5 for training value, a high value reward by our own count.
Beef heart dog treats for training
Snap a piece in two, then in two again, and one piece has become a handful of rewards. The bits are dry and not greasy, and they are light in a pouch. We list beef heart for dogs of all sizes, adults and puppies. It also crumbles over kibble or a raw meal as a topper.

We make two hearts by the same method. Beef heart is the year-round one, in 1.5 ounce, 3 ounce and 6 ounce bags. Feed as a treat or meal topper. Not intended as a complete diet. Provide fresh water at all times. Always supervise your dog while feeding. Close the heart bag again after opening and store it cool and dry. Wash your hands after handling it.

The label lists about 75.3 kcal per ounce. Stay within the 10 percent treat guideline for your dog's size.
Can puppies eat freeze dried beef heart dog treats?
We list it for puppies and adult dogs. For a puppy, snap each piece down small.
Does it need to be refrigerated?
No. Freeze-dried heart is shelf stable. Reseal the bag and it can come along for a show weekend.
