The 1/2-inch spacing vinyl coated grids are extremely durable to provide years of use & are comfortable for your dog's paws. The elevated dog crate floor grids sit above the leak-proof pan in the dog crate by attaching onto the dog crate's side panels. In the event your dog has to use the bathroom in the crate the leak-proof pan below the floor grid will catch the mess. The pan can slide out of the crate for easy & hygienic cleaning without having to remove the floor grid from the dog crate.
