The powerful and quiet Purrified Air filter fits almost all types of covered litter boxes, open litter boxes, and ferret cages, and other small animal homes. Also works well as a room air filter for smoke, bathrooms, food odors, cleaning chemicals and other household odors when used with the wall-table bracket. Contains a whopping 2.5 pounds of filter media including activated carbon, zeolite, catechin and negative-ion ceramic balls, and a powerful, quiet fan. Most other small units contain a few teaspoons or ounces, and no, or a weak, fan. Ideal for eliminating odor from cat, and other small animal urine and feces. Tested to reduce odors to undetectable levels, less than one part per million. This unit is not based on the design of cheap, ineffective consumer air purification products with boastful claims but no evidence. Instead, its design takes from the same engineering, performance and testing standards for air cleaning required by building code and environmental safety requirements for hospitals, schools, and work environments where noxious volatile organic chemicals are in the air. Testing shows a reduction from eight parts per million of ammonia in the air (bad urine smell) to zero-one parts (no detectable smell). Industrial strength Velcro-brand hook and loop system affixes filter to the top of your litter box. Unit easily stays in place when top is removed for litter changes, or most normal jostling.
